The projects will focus on “Defining carbohydrate formulations to steer gut microbiota and colonic fermentation processes to support metabolic, immune and mental health” in collaboration with industrial partners, Sensus BV, Avebe, and Nutrition Sciences.
The research will be performed at Maastricht University, Wageningen University, University Medical Center Groningen and University of Groningen. The first PhD student has started on the 1st of June at Masstricht University in the group of Ellen Blaak.
